A brief history

The Waiting Drove began it's life as a failed live action television show for public access TV back in the early 90s. It later appeared as a self published comic book, consisting of three issues. The title was received relatively well and prompted the making of the first issue into a short animated film (four minutes of which were completed). A whirlwind tour of young writers festivals and animation screenings soon followed. It was then optioned by an Australian production company as an animated TV series, and subsequently shelved. Now it enters the 21st Century as a webcomic where it continues, to this day, to collect digital dust.
