FAQ

Q. "What's the deal with the weird numbering system at the top of each page? I'm sure it means something but I can't for the life of me figure it out."

A. The first number is the year that that particular comic takes place. This doesn't take into account flashbacks or flash forwards that may occur within a page, but it's basically the starting point for that episode. The following numbers relate to the order in which the comic should be read. For instance, 2001 #03-02 is the third episode, and you're on the second page.

Q. "What order am I supposed to read these in? Most webcomics have a straight forward numbering system - you start at #1 and work your way up. Yours seems intentionally obtuse. Do you get some sort of sick pleasure out of messing with our heads?"

A. The truth is, it doesn't matter what order you read them, as long as you get the page numbers right. The Waiting Drove jumps forwards and backwards in time so don't get too hung up on which story comes first. It honestly makes no difference. There is no plot.

Q. "How regularly will you be posting new pages? Weekly? Monthly? C'mon!"

A. I've no set time limit on each new posting. There's heaps of content waiting to be cleaned up and posted, as well as a couple of finished scripts ready to be drawn. It's just a matter of finding the time to do it.

Q. "How will I know when you've posted a new page? Am I expected to keep coming back to your blog like some crazy stalker?"

A. Updates are no longer announced via Twitter and Facebook. There are a couple of buttons on the side of this page though that allow you to follow posts via Google Friend Connect, or by good old fashioned email.

Q. " I really really really have something incredibly important to tell you. I also find you strangely attractive. How do I get in contact with you?"

A. Send any correspondence to this address - thewaitingdrove@gmail.com
